We're hoping you can help with our Christmas Gift Appeal we are running in conjunction with St Vincent de Paul's Giving Tree.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides help to thousands of families at Christmas which includes gift vouchers for all, toys for children and gifts for older children and adults.

Our plan is to collect presents (value €10) from workplaces in Dublin and deliver them to the charity who will distribute them to children and adults in need this Christmas.

We would really appreciate if you could let the employees in your company know about the appeal and and arrange for them to bring in a gift to work next week.

There are guidelines on the types of gifts to get based on the age and gender of the recipient. Please see attached.

Get in touch with us to let us know you're taking part and we will arrange a day to collect all the gifts at some stage next week or early the following week.

Guidelines

·                     Choose a person and age group e.g. ‘Girl aged 4-7 years’ or ‘Adult Male’

·                     Label the gift so we know who to give it to.

·                     The value of each gift we would suggest as a guide is €10.

·                     We would ask that all toys/gifts are new – no second hand toys please.

·                     You can also give a gift voucher for music/book/sport shops etc. but we do request that the minimum value for vouchers is €10.

For health and safety reasons all gifts must be unwrapped. We cannot accept the following:

·                     No Soft Toys

·                     No small pieces that can be swallowed for the 0‐3 age group

·                     No war figures or guns.

We can only do this with the generosity of organisations and individuals such as yours. Your support and generosity will help many underprivileged families this Christmas.
